Replay Rules of Play

Use standard PDGA disc golf rules with one key twist:

  1. Each player may replay one throw per hole without penalty.
  2. Players can use the Replay Player Pack discs and up to 3 of their own discs.
  3. Replay shots can be thrown with any disc, and must be declared and thrown before the next player throws. The player chooses a lie from the replay or original throw.
  4. Scoring: Count the lowest number of throws to complete the hole. Ignore any throw that was not used to complete the hole.

Note: Replay events are intended as unsanctioned or PDGA X-Tier events.

Organizers: Host a Tournament-in-a-Box Event

Running an Innova Replay event is a fantastic way to bring players together and check out 3 new premium discs. Players' Packs include prizes to make this event easy to organize and run for first-time and experienced Tournament Directors.

Step 1

Pick a Date

Check discgolfscene.com, udisc.com, and/or pdga.com for your local disc golf tournament schedule and find some dates that work for you.  

Step 2

Reserve a Course

Be sure to reserve your course through proper channels whether it's a city, park district, or private owner. Each course has its own set of requirements to run events so it's important to make sure you can meet all of these requirements and reserve the course before publishing your event date and location. 

Step 3

Disc Golf Scene Registration

Set up and publish your event registration page on Discgolfscene.com.

  • “Innova Replay” must be in your event title. 
  • Innova Replay Poster for your event page.
  • How to Guide to add disc weight options to your registration
  • If you are sanctioning your event through the PDGA, you’ll need to do that as an X-Tier event.

Step 4

Order Replay Players' Packs

  • Order minimum is 15 packs (Get a bonus prizing bundle for each set of 15 discs). 
  • Order at least four weeks in advance to allow for processing and shipping. 
  • Order equal numbers of each disc type for each of your registrants. 
  • You’ll need to add your event's discgolfscene registration link when you place your order.  
  • Please note that discs from the Replay Player Pack may not be sold until after all Replay Events have concluded.
